Dementia services in Fenland survey
Health partners in the Fenland area are keen to hear from people affected by memory problems and their carers in a new dementia survey.
North Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Care Partnership, part of Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Integrated Care System, and Alzheimer’s Society have come together to speak to people in Fenland to find out more about their experiences of health and wellbeing support to help improve services in the future. The aim is to understand the barriers people face in accessing services/support and raise the awareness of local services. The survey has been produced together with people who have lived experience of memory problems.
Amber O’Berg, Integrated Neighbourhood Project Manager for Fenland, said “We really want to understand what matters to those affected by memory problems, the problems they currently face, and areas for improvement across Fenland. The survey only takes about five minutes to fill in and the results will allow us to ensure that future services work in a way that’s best meets the needs of local people.”
Wendy Dunn, Dementia Connect Local Service Manager for Cambridgeshire at Alzheimer’s Society said, “At Alzheimer’s Society we vow to give hope for a better future for those affected by dementia. Locally, we are pleased to be working with the North Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Care Partnership to ensure dementia services and support across Fenland are developed with you and not for you. To do this we need your views, please complete this survey to help us understand what local services is needed.”
To take part in the survey please follow this link and complete it before 31 May 2023.
