Let’s Talk: your health & care

People in Cambridgeshire & Peterborough are being invited to have share their views on health and care plans for the future via the second phase of the Let’s Talk: your health and care campaign.

Over 2,300 people have taken part since the conversation first launched in October 2022. The views local people shared last autumn have played an important role as this feedback has been used to shape our draft Joint Forward Plan.

Over the past few months, health partners across the Integrated Care System (ICS) have worked together to draft a Joint Forward Plan, setting out how we will deliver and improve health and care services over the next five years.

Local people are now being asked to review the draft version of the Joint Forward Plan and share their thoughts through a short survey, so these plans can be improved and refined to better meet the needs of local people.

Kit Connick, Chief Officer for Strategy and Partnerships with NHS Cambridgeshire & Peterborough (part of the ICS), said:

“We know the life experiences and views of local people help us make better choices and better plans for the communities we serve.

“After receiving so much valuable feedback through the first phase of Let’s Talk, we’re continuing the conversation. We’re keen to listen to you, to understand what matters to you today, and tomorrow. Please take part and have your say about our five-year plan for local health and care.”

The Joint Forward Plan can be read online, with communities invited to share their views through a short questionnaire by 12 May 2023.
