Important Statement

A statement from John O'Brien, Chair, and Jan Thomas, Chief Executive of NHS Cambridgeshire & Peterborough, part of Cambridgeshire & Peterborough ICS:

“We are deeply saddened by the news of the passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth. On behalf of all of our colleagues here at Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Integrated Care System (ICS), we wish to offer our sincerest condolences to the Royal Family for this extremely sad loss.

“Our health and care teams across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough are incredibly grateful for the Queen’s work, including the many occasions on which the Queen lifted local health and care teams by visiting the area – from the official opening of Addenbrooke’s Hospital sixty years ago, all the way through to the Queen’s visit to Royal Papworth Hospital in 2019.”
